16 feared kidnapped in contemporary Niger bandit assaults

No fewer than 16 individuals have been feared kidnapped in contemporary bandit assaults in Niger.

The Nation learnt the incident occurred in Magani and Tungan-Bako communities of Rafi Native Authorities space of the state at round 11 am on Monday.

Eight villagers had been kidnapped at Magami group whereas six had been kidnapped at Tungan Bako.

The Nation learnt the abductors stormed the communities, using on bikes and taking pictures sporadically.

They had been mentioned to have gone from home to accommodate, abducting folks and dispossessing them of their helpful objects.

A supply disclosed a type of kidnapped at Tungan- Bako village was launched by the bandits to get ransom since not one of the victims had telephones for the abductors to make contact with their relations.
