AA, LP, ADC substitute candidates

The Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) mentioned on Wednesday that three events substituted their candidates earlier nominated for Edo governorship election.

Mr. Festus Okoye, INEC Nationwide Commissioner and Chairman, Info and Voter Schooling Committee, disclosed this in an interview with the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.

In response to Okoye, the Motion Alliance (AA), Labour Occasion (LP) and African Democratic Congress (ADC) have been the three events that met the July 13 deadline for withdrawal and substitution of candidates for the state election.

He mentioned that the AA substituted its governorship candidate, Edemakhiota Osaimiamia with Obhafuoso Paul; whereas LP changed Omogbelehan Pauline with Omobayo Marvellous as its deputy governorship candidate for the election.

He mentioned ADC substituted its earlier nominated governorship candidate, Mabel Oboh with Akhigbe Ehiabhi; in addition to changed Mabel Oboh with Reuben Edokpayi because the celebration’s present deputy governorship candidate.
