Adamawa: Buhari reacts to loss of life of Bachama paramount ruler, Stephen

President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the household of Col. Trustworthy Irmiya Stephens (rtd), the Hama Bachama and Paramount Ruler of Bachama Kingdom over the transition of the monarch.

The President additionally condoled with the Bachama Kingdom, the federal government and folks of Adamawa State, noting that the late conventional ruler who acquired his employees of workplace on December 15, 2013, served his neighborhood, state and the nation creditably.

A press release to DAILY POST by the Spokesman for the President, Garba Shehu, quoted Buhari as saying that the retired navy officer and 28th ruler of Bachama Kingdom, “distinguished himself within the Nigerian Military and devoted his post-service years to selling the event of his individuals and fostering unity of his fatherland.”

Whereas urging the Bachama Kingdom to elect a worthy successor, the President prayed God to console all those that mourn the departed conventional ruler and grant his soul everlasting relaxation.

The Hama Bachama and paramount ruler of Bachama kingdom in Adamawa, Trustworthy Stephen, died on Sunday.

The monarch, full title Homun Trustworthy Irmiya Stephen, was born March 6, 1954.

Timawus Mathias, the Nzobyalata Hama Bachama and Bachama kingdom spokesman, confirmed the loss of life in Numan.

He disclosed that the deceased died within the early hours of Sunday, at his palace in Numan, Adamawa
