Amotekun arrest six suspects over looting, burning of private and public facilities in Ondo (Photos)

Six individuals allegedly concerned in setting ablaze and looting of a number of non-public and public amenities throughout the state together with Police Stations throughout the #ENDSARS protests in Ondo State have been arrested by the Ondo State Safety Community Company (Amotekun).

Talking with newsmen in Akure, on Tuesday morning, November 3, the Commander of the Safety Community Company, Chief Adetunji Adeleye mentioned preparations have been concluded to handover the suspects to the Police for indepth investigations and prosecution.

The Commander mentioned that the suspects confessed to participating within the violent lootings that characterised the #ENDSARS protests that have been hijacked by hoodlums in some components of the state and that they’ve made helpful statements that may be additional explored by safety companies at getting extra hyperlinks to the unlucky incident.

“From our investigations, we came upon that they might really be an excellent hyperlink to all others who have been concerned. A few of them have been arrested with navy jackets, knifes, motorbikes, Police uniforms” he mentioned.

Chief Adeleye mentioned Amotekun Corps would proceed to work throughout the authorized framework which established it for the availability of enough safety for all residents of the State.
