Armed Forces Day: Nigeria stronger together – Osinbajo

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has disclosed that regardless of variations in faith, political affiliations, ethnicity, or different diversities, Nigerians of all generations and from all walks of life should attempt to commit to making sure the nation’s unity.

He declared that Nigeria is stronger collectively than aside.

He spoke on the Interdenominational Church Service for the 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration, which was held on the Nationwide Christian Centre, Abuja.

Osinbajo, who was represented on the church service by Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Authorities of the Federation, mentioned Nigerians “should at each alternative insist that each nice multi-ethnic and multi-religious nation has, by way of thick and skinny, fought to appreciate the nice dividends of range and pluralism.”

He reiterated the necessity for Nigerians to as a mark of honour for the sacrifices of the women and men of the Armed Forces present extra dedication to the unity of the nation and the duty of constructing a greater society.

“The wrestle to make sure an ideal federation is a lifelong enterprise to which every era should resolutely commit,” he mentioned.

Osinbajo noticed that their sacrifices embody final patriotism as they laid down their lives within the line of responsibility.

The vice chairman added, “It’s to the reminiscences of those heroes and heroines that we pledge within the phrases of our Nationwide anthem: that ‘the labours of our heroes’ previous shall by no means be in useless’.
