Nigerian Military Chief, Tukur Buratai has hailed troops of Operation TURA TAKAIBANGO for repelling Boko Haram/ISWAP assault on Friday.
The terrorists had invaded an Military base in Marte, Borno State.
Troopers bolstered and fought the insurgents with assist from the Air Job Drive unit of Operation LAFIYA DOLE.
Buratai stated the destruction of gun vans and decimation of quite a lot of the attackers was an excellent show of gallantry.
Brigadier Common Sagir Musa, the Military spokesman, relayed the Military topmost officer’s response in a press release.
Buratai added that the troops’ “heroic and patriotic actions resulted within the successes recorded”.
He urged them to take care of the momentum to make sure the speedy closing defeat of Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Nigeria.
