ASUU strike: University of Uyo students protest, gives govt seven days ultimatum to meet demands

The Nationwide Affiliation of Nigeria College students, College of Uyo chapter, on Friday launched into a peaceable demonstration, calling on the federal authorities and the Tutorial Workers Unions of Universities to resolve their variations and permit college students return to high school.

The protesters who blocked the Ikpa highway of the City Campus of the College as early as 9::30am gave the federal authorities seven days to accede to their request.
