Boko Haram: Yobe govt to disburse N75m to IDP women

Yobe State Authorities has concluded preparations to disburse a complete sum of N75m to 1,500 returnee girls who have been earlier displaced by the actions of Boko Haram insurgents within the state.

Govt Secretary Yobe State Emergency Company, (SEMA), Dr. Mohammed Goje disclosed this to DAILY POST on Wednesday in Damaturu.

He mentioned, “Every potential beneficiary would get N50,000 as monetary backing to begin up a micro-business or increase the prevailing one”.

He added that disbursement, which will likely be carried out by Yobe State Emergency Administration Company (YOSEMA) could be executed by the state-owned Micro Finance Financial institution.
