Buhari Seeks Recent Senate Approval For 42 Ambassadorial Nominees

One of many nominees from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, was appointed as profession ambassador, whereas the remainder are non-career nominees.

The President, Main Normal Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has requested the approval of the Senate for the affirmation of 42 ambassadorial nominees, The PUNCH experiences.

One of many nominees from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, was appointed as profession ambassador, whereas the remainder are non-career nominees.

A few of the non-career nominees are, former minister, Ademola Seriki (Lagos), Debo Adesina (Oyo), Dare Sunday-Awoniyi (Kogi), amongst others.

The President in one other letter, requested the higher chamber to substantiate the appointment of three nominees as commissioners within the Federal Civil Service Fee.

Buhari in yet one more letter, sought the approval of the Senate for the appointment of a federal commissioner for the Income Mobilisation and Fiscal Fee.
