Court remands teenager in prison over break-in, stealing

An 18-year-old boy, Taiwo Olusola has been remanded for breaking-in and stealing motor elements in a store in Osun.

{The teenager} was arraigned by an Osun Justice of the Peace courtroom sitting in Osogbo, on Wednesday.

Earlier, the Police prosecutor, ASP Fagboyinbo Abiodun advised the courtroom that the accused particular person dedicated the offence on August 30, 2020, at about 5:30am at Legacy Lodge space, Okinni.

The prosecutor alleged that the suspect did unlawfully enter the store of 1 Tajudeen Olayiwola and stole two poles valued N200,000, Motor Disc valued N25,000, Motor Horb valued N35,000, two gear tooth valued N10,000 and body well-valued N8,000 all whole 200 and seventy-eight thousand naira.

He acknowledged that the offence dedicated by the suspect contravened part 413 and 390(a) of the Felony Code Cap 34 Vol ll Regulation of Osun 2002.

Nonetheless, the accused pleaded responsible to the allegations slammed in opposition to him.

In his ruling, Justice of the Peace Dr. Olusegun Ayilara ordered the remand of the accused particular person in Ilesa Correctional Heart.
