Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa has permitted the re-opening of all colleges within the state with impact from Monday, January 18.
Hajiya Fatu Sabo, Commissioner for Schooling, Science and Know-how within the state stated this in a press release issued to newsmen on Friday in Lafia.
Based on Sabo, the approval was given after due session with related stakeholders and the federal authorities.
The Commissioner stated the ministry had put equipment on floor to make sure most compliance with the COVID-19 security protocols, particularly in public colleges.
She added that the proprietors of personal colleges had been directed to place security measures in place and the federal government would arrange the equipment to make sure compliance.
