In keeping with a report by SaharaReporters, some gunmen suspected to be sponsored by the Kogi State Authorities on Wednesday attacked employees of the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja.

SaharaReporters gathered that the employees have been planning a press convention to strain the Federal Authorities into establishing a COVID-19 screening centre within the state when the incident occurred.

It was learnt that the gunmen shot sporadically into the air to scare individuals away, then went to the data and admin division the place they seized laptops and destroyed just a few issues. They ransacked the Medical Director’s workplace, too.
