Don’t kill Nigerians – Pastor Tunde Bakare warns Buhari govt

The Serving Overseer of the Citadel World Neighborhood Church (CGCC), Pastor Tunde Bakare, has warned the President Muhammadu Buhari administration to not kill Nigerians.

Bakare, talking on The Platform, a particular programme to commemorate Nigeria’s Independence Day anniversary, on Thursday requested the federal authorities to do away with corruption as an alternative.

Buhari, throughout his sixtieth Independence Day speech, intimated that gasoline will quickly promote for N161 per litre.

Bakare additionally recalled that when he joined Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka; Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Femi Falana; amongst others to protest throughout Goodluck Jonathan’s authorities in 2012, the protest was not in opposition to subsidy.

“I campaigned in opposition to the oppression of the poor,” Bakare mentioned, including that the subsidy by the federal government was not used to advance the reason for the poor.
