DSS uncovers alleged plots to incite religious violence in Lagos, Kano, Oyo, others

The Division of State Providers (DSS) has alerted the general public about alleged plans by some components working with exterior forces to incite non secular violence throughout the nation.

In accordance with the safety alert, the focused states embody Sokoto, Kano, Kaduna, Plateau, Rivers, Oyo, Lagos and people within the South East.

In an announcement on Monday, which was signed by its Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya, DSS stated that a part of the plans was to trigger inter-religious conflicts in addition to use their foot troopers to assault some worship centres, non secular leaders, personalities, key and susceptible factors.

“Consequently, Nigerians are suggested to be cautious of those antics and shun all divisive tendencies geared toward inciting or setting them towards each other,” the assertion stated
