Edo Governorship Election Marketing campaign Begin Formally

The Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) has revealed that political events can start their campaigns forward of the Edo governorship election.

Naija Information stories that the gubernatorial election is scheduled for September 19, 2020.

Chatting with NAN, INEC Head of Voter Training in Edo, Timidi Wariowei, mentioned campaigns formally commenced on June 21.

“Campaigns have formally began within the state. Campaigns begins 90 days to election and it began on June 21,” he mentioned.

Talking additional, Wariowei disclosed that some non-sensitive supplies have been distributed to the 18 native authorities areas of the state.

He acknowledged that the supplies have been distributed early as a result of the INEC workplace in Edo has a small storage capability.

“The storage facility can’t accommodate all of the supplies, in order the supplies come we dispatch to our native authorities places of work.
