The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) has arrested a authorized practitioner, Bardi Robert.
The lawyer was arrested on Wednesday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Wilson Uwujaren, EFCC spokesman, in an announcement on Thursday, stated the suspect allegedly eloped with funds awarded by Rivers State Excessive Court docket.
Robert is accused of amassing the cash on behalf of his consumer, Igwe Ugochukwu, and “transformed to private use”.
He allegedly obtained the judgment fund in three tranches – N10,000,000, N737,187, and N4,975,000.
EFCC alerted that the alleged confederate, Obinna Friday Egwom, remains to be at massive.
