End SARS: Police Service Commission denies dismissing Abayomi Shogunle, Dolapo Badmus, 37 other officers

The Police Service Fee, PSC, has reacted to reviews of demoting and dismissing some former officers of the Particular Anti-Theft Squad, SARS.

Stories had it that PSC had demoted Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP, Abayomi Shogunle and Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP, Dolapo Badmus.

Whereas Shogunle was a former head of the Police Public Complaints Unit, Badmus was an ex-spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command and later the Zone Two Command.

An inventory reportedly submitted by the Presidential Panel on Police Reforms surfaced on Saturday together with names and repair numbers of 37 officers alleged to have been beneficial for dismissal and demotion.

Reacting, PSC spokesman, Ikechukwu Ani described the reviews as incorrect.

Ani defined that PSC was but to fulfill, therefore the report was incorrect.
