End SARS: Three protesters arraigned, granted bail in Ogun

Three protesters, who had been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly inflicting violence throughout Saturday’s Finish SARS protests, have been arraigned on Monday.

The Ogun State Police Public Relations, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed this in an announcement forwarded to DAILY POST.

Abimbola stated the three protesters have been granted bail.

The three males, who Adeyemi alleged had induced the disturbance on the Olowu Palace, had been arraigned at Isabo Justice of the Peace’s Courtroom, Abeokuta, “from the place they had been taken to a correctional centre pending when their bail situations could be perfected.”

This, he stated, was opposite to studies making the rounds on social media that the three protesters have been jailed for all times.

He stated, “The Command needs to state that the data isn’t true and it’s a calculated try to instigate members of the general public in opposition to the police,” the PPRO knowledgeable.

Other than disrupting the Owu Pageant, Oyeyemi added that the three males “vandalized public properties and injured one police Sergeant on responsibility on the palace.”
