The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, has lashed out at his boss, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, for stopping the Zenith Labour Celebration, ZLP from accessing the MKO Abiola Democracy Park for the occasion’s flag-off marketing campaign.
Ajayi, who’s the standard-bearer of ZLP, acknowledged that the governor deliberately hiked the price for the venue to be able to deny the occasion from utilizing the power.
Whereas describing Akeredolu as illiberal and undemocratic over the event, Ajayi in a press release by his Media Adviser, Allen Sowore, acknowledged that the venue was given out to the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP) for N5m whereas the identical venue was hiked to N11m for ZLP.
