Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, on Tuesday, condemned the killing of an operative of the Division of State Providers, DSS, Sadiq Abdullahi Bindawa in Katsina State by bandits.
Omokri berated President Muhammadu Buhari for the spate of insecurity within the nation, following the kidnapping and homicide of Bindawa.
DAILY POST had reported that Bindawa, a 33-year-old was killed by the Bandits after receiving N5 million as ransom.
Bindawa labored with the intelligence division, DSS headquarters in Abuja.
Whereas decrying the cost of ransom by the DSS, Omokri warned that nowhere was secure in Nigeria.
In a collection of tweets, Omokri narrated a number of conditions of criminals over powering safety operatives.
“A DSS officer was kidnapped and the DSS paid a ransom. Let this sink in. This is sort of a pastor that’s meant to ship you from Devil begging demons for mercy. They paid, but the person was killed. Imagine it or not, in elements of Nigeria, Nigerians pay taxes to bandits! Nowhere is secure in Nigeria
“Normal @MBuhari’s Nigeria: DSS pays kidnappers ransom, @OfficialEFCC boss is a thief
“Troopers kill policemen to guard Wadume, a kidnapper. Buhari lifts the hand of a Governor caught on digital camera receiving a bribe. Bandits cease trains to rob passengers.”
