Fed Govt to start restore work on Third Mainland Bridge

The Third Mainland Bridge will likely be shut down for repairs for six months, the Federal Controller of Works in Lagos, Olukayode Popoola, has mentioned.

He mentioned the restore would begin on July 24 and can be accomplished in December.

Popoola in an announcement yesterday mentioned consultations are on for one more section of restore works to start on the 11.8km bridge.

 

He mentioned work will start on the outward mainland part of the bridge first, including that the ministry is working with businesses to good methods for site visitors management throughout the interval.

The bridge has gone by collection of restore works and was final shut in August 2018, for a three-day investigative upkeep verify.
