Five dead, 16 injured in Lagos-Ibadan road crash

No fewer than 5 individuals have died in an accident alongside the Mowe axis of the Lagos-Ibadan freeway on Wednesday.

DAILY POST learnt that the highway crash occurred round 2:45 pm at Danliti U-turn, involving a truck marked, APP 397 YA and a Mazda bus registered as, EPE 575 XA.

Confirming the incident to DAILY POST, the Ogun State Site visitors Compliance and Enforcement (TRACE) corps spokesperson, Babatunde Akinbiyi knowledgeable that the “Mazda bus rammed into the low mattress truck whereas making a U-turn at Danliti Flip.”

16 individuals, together with a toddler, had been stated to have sustained accidents within the accident that concerned 21 individuals – 14 males and seven females.

Akinbiyi disclosed that the injured victims had been rescued to Idera Personal Hospital, saying the toddler was taken to Olabisi Onabanjo College Instructing Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu.
