The Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) has reacted to fireplace incident at its Ondo headquarters on Thursday
The hearth destroyed no fewer than 5,000 card readers meant for the Oct. 10 governorship election in Ondo State. Nevertheless, no life was misplaced.
Reacting, Prof. Festus Okoye, the INEC Nationwide Commissioner accountable for Info and Voter Training expressed shock on the incident.
He described the hearth incident as a setback, however famous that it could not have an effect on the conduct of the governorship election.
Okoye added that investigation can be carried out to determine the reason for the incident.
