Former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, has stated that the result of elections have to be determined by ballots and never by courts.
Jonathan acknowledged this whereas talking on The Osasu Present Symposium 2020.
Based on him, digital voting is the one option to get to credible elections in Nigeria and the remainder of Africa.
“For elections to be democratic, that signifies that the result of the elections should rely on the poll, not some other establishment, not even the court docket.
“If the ballots don’t determine who wins, then we aren’t training democracy.
