JAMB admission to start August 21

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has given tertiary establishments the nod to start first and second selection admissions for 2020/2021 from August 21.

The board stated the deadline for admissions can be communicated to heads of tertiary establishments at a later date to be decided by the Federal Authorities.

JAMB insisted that the admission processes have to be performed on Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), warning establishments to not bypass the system.

The board stated these in its 2020 admission tips signed by its Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, and launched on Sunday by its Head of Media and Info, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.

“The primary and second selections admission train be performed for all establishments from August 21, 2020, to a later date that will be decided by the Federal Ministry of Training and communicated to all of the establishments.”
