The Kano State Police Command has threatened to prosecute homeowners of uncompleted buildings within the state following an increase in case of r.a.p.e, particularly within the historic metropolis.

Talking yesterday with journalists in Kano, the command’s spokesperson, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, stated with the worrisome statistics on r.a.p.e, the command had deployed its males on patrol and surveillance to unoccupied buildings in Kano and its environs to sort out the ugly pattern.
“We’re warning most people that henceforth, any rape case perpetrated in an uncompleted constructing, the proprietor can be charged as an confederate.
“Our investigation has proven that 33.three per cent of r.a.p.e circumstances have been perpetrated in uncompleted buildings on this state.
