Lagos conducts over 54,000 COVID-19 pattern checks

The Lagos State Commissioner for Well being, Prof. Akin Abayomi, on Sunday says a complete of 54, 570 samples has been examined  for COVID-19 pandemic within the state as at July 18.

Abayomi, who made the disclosure on his Twitter account, stated that of the 54,570 samples, 13, 346 returned constructive.

He stated that 759 COVID-19 checks had been carried out within the state on July 18, out of which 115 new instances had been confirmed.

Based on him, 2,069 of the confirmed instances have since been discharged from #COVID-19 Care Centres following full restoration.

He stated, “8,781 of the confirmed instances monitored in communities by #COVID-19 Lagos Response Group have both totally recovered or positively responding to remedies.”

The commissioner stated that 164 of the instances had been at the moment below isolation in private and non-private Care Centres.
