Lagos State Site visitors Administration Authourity (LASTMA), has spoken on the hearth incident inside its premises.
Olajide Oduyoye, the Basic Supervisor, reacted in an announcement on Saturday.
He defined that the hearth began on the deserted Car Yard and never on LASTMA property.
The GM mentioned “seven lifeless beat automobiles that had been deserted and already in preparedness for disposal for years by crushing or different means obtained burnt.”
He added that the reason for the hearth remains to be unknown however that the Lagos Hearth Service responded promptly, put out the hearth and mitigated additional unfold or injury to property.
The GM averred that as confirmed by the Lagos State Emergency Company (LASEMA), no harm or injury to any LASTMA property was recorded.
Oduyoye assured the general public, particularly these whose automobiles had been apprehended for site visitors offences within the Oshodi yard, to not entertain any worry.
