A 48-year-old man, Akeem Bello, on Monday appeared earlier than an Ikorodu Magistrates’ Courtroom for allegedly inflicting the demise of two individuals via reckless driving in Lagos.

Famuyiwa stated that the defendant dedicated the offence on Jan. 12 at 11:45 p.m alongside Sagamu Highway by Sheriff Space of Odogunyan in Ikorodu, Lagos.

She stated the driving force drove recklessly in a freeway having no regard for different customers.

The offence, she stated, contravened the provisions of Sections 51, 52 and 53 of the Highway Site visitors Legislation and Rules of Lagos State, 2018.

Delivering judgement, the Justice of the Peace, B.A. Sonuga admitted the defendant to bail within the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in like sum.

Sonuga ordered that the sureties should be gainfully employed, dwell within the jurisdiction of the court docket, and have their addresses verified.

The Justice of the Peace adjourned the case till Feb. 18 for listening to, NaN stories.
