The Nationwide Identification Administration Fee (NIMC) in Lagos State on Thursday urged all physically-challenged candidates for the Nationwide Identification Quantity (NIN) to stay calm and shun unruly behaviours at NIMC workplaces.
Mr Olumide Aremu, NIMC Lagos West Coordinator, made the attraction in an interview with the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) following the protest by Folks Dwelling with Incapacity (PLWD) at NIMC workplace on Tuesday.
Recall that some aggrieved PLWD NIN candidates staged a protest on the Ikeja workplace of NIMC on Tuesday over alleged neglect and delay of their enrollment.
Aremu, who stated that though NIMC gave precedence to PLWD, nursing moms and aged folks in enrollment, it shouldn’t be seen as a licence to be impolite and disorderly every time they arrive at NIMC workplaces.
“It’s in our coverage to offer precedence to the bodily challenged, however due to COVID-19, there are some requirements we have to implement.
“So, it isn’t each bodily challenged that we might want to transfer in on the similar time due to the COVID-19 protocol.
