The Police Command in Borno State has mentioned it is not going to tolerate any type of protest.
The spokesman, Edet Okon, gave the warning in a press release on Tuesday.
The command mentioned public demonstrations have been able to disrupting the “hard-earned peace within the state’’.
Okon mentioned that some teams have been planning to protest in opposition to the hike in gasoline value, electrical energy tariff, working situations of state civil servants and N-power programme.
“Such protest is not going to be condoned by the command as this will likely sabotage efforts of the Federal and State Governments and that of the safety businesses to make sure that the rising peace and safety within the state is sustained.
