Ondo election: 10 political parties to present consensus candidate

No fewer than ten political events have agreed to work for a consensus candidate throughout the governorship election in Ondo State on October 10.

The political events are working collectively underneath the Convention of INEC Registered Political Events (CIRPP).

The CIRPP disclosed this in Lagos State on Thursday in a press release collectively issued by Mr Olugbemi Ogunbameru (SDP), its Chairman, Comrade Israel Ayeni (AAC), Secretary and another members of the coalition.

It mentioned: “The CIRPP Will, nevertheless, make its place often known as to who to assist and work for inside 72 hours.

“The CIRPP, hereby, informs most of the people that the committee has not adopted any candidate for the slated election as insinuated by the general public and envisaged by a gaggle of individuals who aren’t members of registered political events.

The assertion was co-issued by Prince Niran Toyin (APGA), Mr Olaoluwa Adesanya (APP), Chief Tokunbo Adetoro (ADC) and Dr Ajibola Falaiye (Accord).
