Osun approves conditional ease of lockdown

Osun State Authorities has accepted conditional ease of lockdown in 4 native governments.

The affected councils, Ilesha East, Ilesha West, Atakumosa East and Atakumosa West have been locked down by an order of the federal government as a part of measures to include surge within the variety of confirmed circumstances of COVID-19.

They have been locked down from July 7 upon discovery that group transmission of the Coronavirus was energetic in that axis of the state.

The federal government thanked the folks of Ijeshaland for the extent of compliance to the lockdown directive.

It stated: “Though, there have been stories of breaches and violations, a commendable proportion confirmed accountability by way of their compliance.”
