Osun man remanded in prison over N26m fraud

The Osun State Justice of the Peace courtroom sitting in Ile-Ife has remanded a 27-year-old retailer keeper, Tunde Bamidele over an alleged N26m fraud.

The Administrator-Common and Public Trustee, for the Commissioner for Justice, Osun State, Abiodun Badiora stated that the accused individual conspired with others, now at giant, and defrauded the corporate of N26 million being value of 12,710 crates of varied drinks and shares.

In keeping with the State prosecutor, the accused individual was alleged to have dedicated the offence between January and June 8, 2019 at Lexican Investments Restricted at Omole Format in Ile-Ife.

The administrator-general alleged that the accused individual cast an organization receipt with No: 538743, 538744, 538739, 538570, 538572 and 538573.

The accused individual pleaded not responsible to the thirteen-count cost bordering on fraud and theft.

The offence is opposite to and punishable beneath Sections 86, 91(a), 83 of the Legal Code, Legal guidelines of Osun, 2002.

Justice of the Peace Ibitola Oyebadejo, didn’t admit the accused individual to bail, saying that the quantity concerned was enormous.

Oyebadejo ordered that the accused individual be remanded in Ile-Ife correctional centre, pending listening to of a written bail software.

The Justice of the Peace adjourned the case until October 26, 2020 for listening to.
