POLICE in Adamawa State on Monday paraded 61 crime suspects.
Thirty-three have been stated to have been concerned in kidnapping, 16 for inciting communal conflict, 10 for armed theft and two for possession of a human eye.
The 33 suspected kidnappers have been arrested in 4 native authorities areas.
Commissioner of Police Olugbenga Adeyanju, who paraded the suspects on the police headquarters in Yola, stated they have been apprehended from July 1 so far.
He stated the suspected kidnappers collected ransoms amounting to N5,400,000.

Adeyanju stated two AK47 rifles, two single-barrel weapons, one G3 rifle, one revolver pistol, 237 rounds of amunition for AK47, amongst different displays, have been recovered from the suspected kidnappers.
He defined that the 16 arrested for inciting communal violence needed to do with the battle in Guyuk LGA, whereas the 10 nabbed for theft belonged to the infamous Shila Boys who routinely terrorize particularly residents of the metropolitan native authorities areas of Yola North, Yola South and Girei.
