Residents hail Abiodun for street rehabilitation

RESIDENTS of Alagbole, Akute, Lambe, Agbado and neighbouring communities have hailed Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun for the palliative work being completed on the Ojodu-Alagbole-Akute Highway in Ifo Native Authorities.

The governor final week directed the Ministry of Works to embark on the palliative measure, to ease the pains of residents and motorists.

The street begins from Sango-Ota and hyperlinks Berger in Lagos State.

The ministry, by the Ogun State Public Works Company (OGPWA), has since mobilised to website, pouring stones and different supplies on dangerous spots alongside the 4.65km stretch.

The Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Ade Akinsanya, assured the residents {that a} new street can be delivered to them when he visited workmen on website on the Alagbole finish of the street yesterday.

A resident, Mr. Joseph Alabi, stated the street had turn into a nightmare.

Alabi appealed to the governor to mobilize contractors again to website and make sure the completion of the challenge after the wet season.

One other resident, Ebenezer Adewole, stated Governor Abiodun’s intervention was lengthy overdue.
