Senate asks FG to rename Ibadan airport after Ajimobi ~ TheNigerian Information

The Senate has requested the Federal Authorities to rename the Ibadan Airport after a former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi.

Ajimobi died final month from problems arising from the coronavirus illness.

The higher legislative chambers, throughout plenary on Tuesday, urged the Federal Authorities to immortalise the previous senator.

It additionally resolved to ship a high-powered delegation to commiserate with the household, authorities and other people of Oyo State on Ajimobi’s demise.
