Drama ensued on the Ondo State Home of Meeting on Thursday, when two opposition lawmakers who have been a part of those that kicked towards the transfer to question the Deputy Governor of the state, Agboola Ajayi, have been allegedly denied entry into the meeting advanced.
The incident was captured in a video recording which has gone viral within the state.
Within the one minute, 30 seconds video, the affected lawmakers who have been of the opposition Peoples Democratic Occasion, PDP, have been seen partaking in a shouting match with the safety males on the gate of the Meeting.
The affected lawmakers have been Mr. Festus Akingbaso and Mr. Rasheed Elegbeleye, who represented Akoko North-East Constituency and Idanre Constituency, respectively
In keeping with the safety guard who was captured within the video, the Speaker, Bamidele Oleyeloogun gave the order that the gate be locked.
One of many aggrieved lawmaker, who confirmed the event, decried the remedy melted on him and his colleague, stressing that it was a deliberate act to close them out.
Nevertheless, the spokesman of the meeting, Mr. Gbenga Omole, stated the lawmakers have been being mischievous about the entire state of affairs, sustaining that no lawmaker was locked out of the meeting advanced.
