Sports activities will resume in Nigeria with non-combat occasions

Plans have reached a complicated stage to have Nigerian sports activities return with non-combat sports activities, with desk tennis, tennis and monitor and subject occasions set for an early return, Minister for Youth and Sports activities Growth, Sunday Dare has said.

Dare’s announcement comes after the Chairman, Presidential Process Pressure on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, said in Abuja on Monday that sports activities and different actions, which concerned giant gatherings, may stay shut down following the rising circumstances of COVID-19 within the nation.

Mustapha stated the COVID-19 statistics weren’t encouraging, including that there could be no room for compromise.
