Gov. Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, on Friday introduced the demise of his Commissioner for Dwelling Affairs, Alhaji Abdulkadir Jeli-Abubakar.
An announcement signed by the Particular Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, Malam Muhammad Bello, stated Jeli-Abubakar died on Thursday at 64 after a protracted sickness.
Tambuwal described the deceased’s demise as an ideal loss to the state and the nation at giant.
He prayed that God will grant his household and family members the fortitude to bear the loss.
The deceased has since been buried in response to Islamic rites, NAN experiences.
Earlier than his demise, Jeli-Abubakar who was the son of the late Sultan of Sokoto, Abubakar III, and youthful brother to the current Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’advert Abubakar was a former counselor of the Sultanate Council in Sokoto.
He’s survived by two wives, many youngsters and grand youngsters.
