Teenager in court for allegedly threatening to kill mother, neighbour

A 17-year-old boy on Thursday appeared in a Zuba Higher Space Courtroom, FCT, for allegedly threatening to kill his mom and a neighbour.

The prosecution counsel, Adefioye Mayowa, whereas presenting the case advised the court docket that the matter was reported by the complainant, Mr Akinyemi Rotim of IKwa Zuba, FCT on the Zuba Police Station Abuja on Oct. 11.

Mayowa alleged that {the teenager} dedicated the offence at about 7 a.m.

He stated that {the teenager} had somewhat misunderstanding along with his mom and when the complainant tried to make peace, he threatened to kill her and the complainant, who’s a neighbour.

The prosecution stated that the defendant’s mom suffered concern because of the risk.

The prosecution stated that the complainant suspects that the defendant is a member of an occult group.

In accordance with him, the case contravened the provisions of sections 397 and 406 of the Penal Code.

Nevertheless, the decide, Alhaji Gambo Garba, whereas delivering judgement admitted the defendant to bail within the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum.
