Two naval officers shot lifeless in Kogi

Two naval officers, a male and one other feminine, had been shot lifeless on Thursday alongside the Lokoja-Okene categorical street.

The incident occurred round 6pm.

It occurred six days after an Military officer, Capt. GSM Abubakar, was killed alongside the identical street whereas his mom and spouse had been reportedly kidnapped.

The officers had been touring in a Toyota Sienna bus once they had been stopped by the gunmen who opened hearth, killing them on the spot.

Police Commissioner (CP) Ayuba Ede confirmed the incident, saying he had despatched his males there for particulars of how and when it occurred.

“Sure, I heard about it and I’ve dispatched my males there to convey me the main points of how and when it occurred,” stated the CP.

As on the time of submitting this report, it was but to be ascertained the place the naval officers had been coming from or heading to when the incident occurred.
