Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu, on Wednesday described the loss of life of former Navy Administrator of Imo and Lagos States, Ndubisi Kanu as a “large loss.”
Kalu, a retired Rear Admiral, handed away on Wednesday on the age of 78-years after a quick sickness.
The deceased is from Ugwunta in isuikwuato Native Authorities of Abia State.
Reacting, the lawmaker in a condolence message on Wednesday, commiserated with Ndigbo, the folks and authorities of Abia specifically over Kanu’s demise, NAN experiences.
Kalu mentioned the ex-Chairman of Nationwide Democratic Coalition (NADECO) acknowledged that Kanu was one of many few Nigerians that fought for the enthronement of democracy.
“I obtained with ache the information of the passing of a number one mild in Igboland and former Chairman of NADECO, retired Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kalu.
“The late statesman contributed immensely to the enthronement and sustenance of democracy in Nigeria.
